She also values the importance of educating patients about the latest treatment recommendations so they can be informed with their care plan. In college, Dr. Vartak started as a psychology major. This passion for mental health continued throughout her educational journey and medical school. She believes the importance of mental health cannot be understated, and it is her goal to help eliminate the stigma of recognizing the need for seeking help.
